What does the role look like?

 The service 24 hour Step Up/ Step Down supported living service for people who need short term intervention to avoid admission or need an intensive period of time in supported living to enable discharge from hospital before moving onto independent living.

To reduce the risk of homelessness for people with mental health needs and/or complex needs through provision of a temporary support and accommodation solution to avert crisis, avoid hospital admission and potentially to avoid eviction.

It provides flats that better prepare people for independent living. The flats provide an ideal environment to enable staff to assess current and future support needs together with the mental health and adult social care teams. It lends itself to a sleep-in provision and a communal area for group work and socialising.
