Manual driving licence is essential for this role.

What does the role look like?
As a Support Worker in our service in Wakefield, your role will be to support a number of individuals with varying needs.
Your duties will also include:
• Helping the people we support to learn new skills.
• Accompanying to activities, appointments etc.
• Assisting with day to day living tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Personal Care (e.g. using the toilet, bathing)
Do I need experience?
Some experience within a similar environment would be desirable, however our outstanding training and development programme means this is not essential. What we do ask for is that you are able to commit to our values at all times - We care. We respect. We learn. We lead.

*You must commence driving lessons within the first 3 months of your employment and obtain a full driving licence within 9 months of your start date. Choice Support will contribute £10 per lesson towards a maximum of 20 driving lessons. If you do not take your driving test (i.e. do not complete your course of lessons) or leave your employment within 12 months of your start date, you will be required to reimburse Choice Support with the total amount of contribution you had received towards your driving lessons i.e. a maximum of 20 lessons at £10 = £200.
