Choice Support is an innovative national social care charity providing support to people with learning disabilities. Our values define us. For over 30 years we have enabled people to lead the lives they want with support that’s right for them.

Currently about 1700 full and part time Choice Support staff provide services to around 900 people across most of England. We are committed to the on-going professional development of all our staff, and have been awarded Investors In People silver level, a nationally recognised people management award for effective staffing practices.

Application process

Fill in our short online application form for the role you wish to apply for. We encourage you to complete your application form as soon as possible as we review applications throughout the advertising period. If you require support with completing the form or would like more information please contact our recruitment team.

If you are successful with your online application form, you'll be invited to complete a short telephone discussion with a member of our recruitment team. This is to get to know you a bit more and understand whether this is the right opportunity for you, as well as for you to ask any questions you may have.
If you are successful with your telephone discussion, you will be invited to a face to face interview at the service you have applied to. You'll meet with our team and people that we support, and get a real flavour of what it's like to work in the service itself. There'll be a few more questions we'll ask you and a short exercise to see whether our roles are right for you.
If you are successful following all of the above, you will be offered a great career opportunity with Choice Support. Our pre-employment team will be on hand to support you with your DBS application and obtain your references.
Once we have copies of your references and your DBS check in place, we’ll be arranging your start date to begin your induction and training, and start meeting the people you will be supporting in role.
